The Arizona Statewide Career Services Conference is the perfect place to network, exchange ideas and foster professional growth, all while enhancing the support we provide to the Arizona workforce ecosystem.
The theme this year will be ‘Design Thinking: An Oasis in the Desert’ and will feature an exciting program of inspiring speakers, engaging panels, quality networking sessions and more.
Opening Address

Dr. Randy Gibb
Grand Canyon University Provost
Randy Gibb, PhD, joined GCU in July 2014 and first served as the dean of the Colangelo College of Business for eight years before he was appointed provost. In his previous role, he and his team grew the business college based upon the pillars of servant leadership, ethics and entrepreneurism and promoted the concepts of free market capitalism and business as a form of ministry.
Dr. Gibb, originally from Wisconsin, earned his PhD and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University. He also has a Master of Arts from the U.S. Naval Command and Staff College in Newport, Rhode Island and was a distinguished graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1986. Dr. Gibb has served on the Governor’s Workforce Arizona Council, Canyon Angels, WESTMARC board of directors and Arizona’s Board of Conscious Capitalism.

Greg Lucas, MBA is an education futurist and expert at the forefront of AI and education, redefining learning through emerging technologies. As the owner of Mark85 Labs, he crafts bespoke spatial environments, leveraging AI and immersive tech to enhance education and collaboration.
He serves as Faculty Chair at Grand Canyon University’s Colangelo College of Business, driving innovation in online learning and AI-driven education solutions. With a background in renewable energy, real estate, and Intel manufacturing, Greg brings a strategic vision to the intersection of AI, education, and business. He holds an Executive MBA in Global Business from ASU.

With over 20 years of experience in advertising, graphic, and web design, Chris specializes in brand development and visual communication. He has collaborated with a diverse range of clients to create corporate identities, design websites, and produce striking visual imagery for magazine publications. His portfolio includes partnerships with prestigious agencies and brands, such as SELF & GLAMOUR Magazine, Intel, Tiffany & Co., MRM Worldwide, Center at Cain, and 5 Stones, where he consistently delivers innovative and time-tested design solutions.
