Regulates the procurement process for federally sponsored projects to maintain fairness and accountability.  

Promotes a culture of research integrity by holding all individuals involved in research accountable for ethical conduct, ensuring accurate reporting, and addressing allegations of research misconduct at GCU. 

Ensures the safe handling, collection, and disposal of hazardous waste at GCU in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while minimizing waste generation through a hierarchy of controls. 

Provides guidelines for the retention, protection, and disposal of corporate records to ensure compliance with legal requirements and prevent inadvertent destruction, while preserving records relevant to legal proceedings or audit.

Ensures a safe and healthy laboratory environment by adhering to regulations and procedures, minimizing hazards, and preventing accidents, injuries, or occupational exposures for all GCU lab users. 

Establishes standards for travel and expense reimbursement, ensuring that all business-related expenditures are reasonable, necessary, and properly documented for approval and reimbursement. 

Promotes innovation and collaboration by establishing clear ownership and usage rights for creative and scholarly works, while fostering partnerships with industry.
