Eliminate human trafficking, prostitution and homelessness in the 27th Ave. community by fostering trust and providing services that promote restoration and transform lives.
Objectives

Collaborate with faith-based organizations, municipality entities and community-based organizations to identify and address challenges specific to 27th Ave., meeting physical, mental, emotional and spiritual-based needs

Work alongside partnering organizations to actively create and provide strategic alliances, opportunities for collaboration and, when necessary, coaching on best practices for service execution and data collection

Actively work in tandem with the Safety Subcommittee to implement preventative and crime deterrent measures and to conduct outreach events that address areas on 27th Ave. that are prone to homelessness, human trafficking and prostitution
4
Increase communication between non-profit providers and the community to adequately communicate and educate what resources are available and what scenarios make them most applicable

6-9 Months
Form the Restoration Street Team and hold monthly meetings with churches, nonprofits and schools to provide resources to the community and foster collaboration among organizations
Establish a rhythm of intentional, collaborative outreach efforts
Identify neighborhood “hot spots” and respond with outreach efforts, working in tandem with the Safety Subcommittee
Implement a communication platform to share information in real time among service providers
Host a prayer breakfast with churches and service providers
1 Year
Host a community prayer walk and fundraiser
Provide training materials to the public
Create opportunities for individuals who have been in need to volunteer in various programs and events
Identify locations for public-facing signage featuring a QR code that links to the 27Collab website and partnering nonprofits
Identify collected data and, if necessary, provide training on data collection and data-informed decision-making
2 Years
Re-evaluate current practices and adjust strategies to address residents’ top self-identified needs
Pursue funding opportunities focused on neighborhood revitalization and urban renewal using data from partner organizations
Identify vacant properties for use by community partners while simultaneously adding value to the community
Collaborate with GCU to explore partnership opportunities with select fields of study and residencies, incorporating students, research and solution implementation
Host a second prayer walk and prayer breakfast
